Fellow .Net users, Many thanks to those of you who were able to make it to our March .Net user group meeting where Brian Swiger showed us the new features in Windows Workflow 4.5.  Our next .Net user’s group meeting will be Thursday April 26th starting at 6:00pm (food will be provided 15 to 20 minutes prior to the start of the meeting) Location: DMSi (http://binged.it/HOhMQ4)

17002 Marcy St Ste 200, Omaha Topic:

Microsoft High Performance Computing The presentation will be a "tip of the iceberg" view of Microsoft's High Performance Computing environment from a hobby perspective.  First, there will be a brief overview of the hardware and software used with Microsoft's High Performance Computing.  The main focus of the HPC topic is on coding parallel processes using Visual Studio 2010 and .NET libraries for HPC available for .NET 4.0.  In addition to a code review in Visual Studio there will be a live demo of a remote HPC cluster "in action", including a look at the control center of an HPC cluster. Presenter:

Mike McAllister is a .NET enthusiast.  He currently works at DMSi as a programmer and spends much of his time designing, coding, testing and deploying .NET business solutions using ASP.NET, Silverlight, Web Services, WinForms and Mobile Compact Framework. Mike is also into Android and iOS development at work. He also likes to spend many of his off-work hours researching interesting topics and coding within .NET and reading and learning about computer science in general. Sponsor:
