Fellow .Net Users,

It's hard to believe, but it's time for the last meeting of 2017. We've had a great year with some great speakers and presentations. I'll be sending out my 2017 recap in a few weeks, but I want to take a minute to look forward to 2018. We just finished out sponsorship drive and have secured funding for every month in 2018. We have a great set of hosts that make our meetings very comfortable. The thing that I'm in need of at this time is speakers! If you have passion around a .NET topic, I would encourage you to reach out and setup a month to speak at the user group.

Here are a few ideas for topics:

  • .NET Core
  • Azure topics (there's tons of possibilities here)
  • Using a modern JavaScript framework with WebAPI
  • How to use VSCode
  • or come up with something else!

Okay, back to your regularly scheduled meeting invitation... Our next .NET user's group meeting will take place on Thursday December 7th, starting at 6:00 PM. Food and drink will be served by our sponsor starting 15-20 minutes before the meeting.

Location:
8802 S 135th St #500

Please Note:
Parking is restricted to all spaces facing away from the building towards an open field. The landlord and other tenants own the spaces facing the front of the building, and they will generally be gone by that hour, we need to respect their spaces.

Speaker:
Matthew Huck
Matt is a Healthcare Exchange Senior Software Architect with WEX Health. He has been writing code for longer than he would like to admit. Other than .NET C#, Framework and Core his interest are golf, family and can talk for hours about Disney World.

Topic:
Know thy User – A look at Azure AD B2C
Azure AD B2C is a customizable identity provider that allows developer to concentrate on the application development. We’ll look at a .Net C# Web App using Azure AD B2C to authenticate user and then use the credentials/token to securely access other .net Resources (restful WebAPI). .Net resources will be both .Net Framework and Core. We’ll go step by step in Azure to customize the login in experience for the sample Web App.

Sponsor:
Aviture
Aviture is a leading software solutions provider that partners with local, national government and clients to solve some of the most complex technical challenges.
