**"Your square peg doesn't fit into my round hole strategies for

tapping into non-traditional data sources for SSIS."

Summary:

In this talk we will example how scripting can be used to

leverage atypical data sources with SSIS Data Flows. We will look at

how to write a script and library for reading metadata from media

files as well as creating custom XML data destinations.

About the Speaker:

Kent Tegels is an Adjunct Professor of Business and Computer Science

at Colorado Technical University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He is

also a SQL Server mentor with PluralSight. He is currently conducting

research on how to combine Spatial Intelligence and Business

Intelligence to improve business decision making.
