Fellow .Net Users, Welcome to 2014!  We’re looking forward to another year of jam packed .Net goodness.  We’re honestly a little light on presenters for the year, so if you have passion around topics related to the .Net framework, we would love to hear from you!  Having said that, we have lined up a great speaker for our January meeting and I’m sure you’re going to enjoy it! Our next .Net User’s Group meeting will take place on Thursday January 30th starting at 6:00 PM.  Food and beverage will be served (free of charge) about 15-30 minutes before the meeting starts. Location:

Mark Turner** Mark Turner has over 25 years of software development experience working with many different technologies.  He has most recently been working with .NET technologies (WPF and ASP.NET) along with some iOS development.  In 2008/2009 he taught university courses in iOS, ASP.NET, JavaScript, and Advanced C#. Topic:

Building Data-Centric Web Apps with Breeze Wouldn't it be cool if you could write LINQ queries in JavaScript on the client against your data back on the server?  Now you can, and it's a Breeze!  We'll explore the Breeze.js library and how it leverages the power of ASP.NET, Web API, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.  If your App might require large data sets, graphs of interrelated entities, ad hoc queries, change notification, validation, dirty tracking, change-set saves, and local storage, you'll appreciate another kind of JavaScript framework; a client-side, open source, data management framework called Breeze. Even if client-side JavaScript is not your thing, it's nice to know what's possible ... in case your boss drops by one day and has this crazy idea about how to improve your App. **Sponsor:
