Fellow .NET Users,

It was great to see so many of you at the Heartland Developers Conference a couple of weeks ago. For those of you that I didn't get a chance to talk to, make sure to come to our next .NET user's group meeting and say hi. Also, .NET Conf is happening next week where Microsoft will be releasing .NET Core 3.0. This is a free 3-day online conference that everyone who is programming .NET will be interested in.

The next .NET UG meeting will take place on Thursday, September 26th, starting at 6:00 PM. Food and drink will be served by our sponsor starting 15-20 minutes before the start of the meeting.

After the meeting join us at Local Beer, Patio and Kitchen for more drinks, appetizers and engaging conversation hosted by our friends at Dynamo!

Location:
Farm Credit Services of America
4979 S 118th St

Topic:
Building and Deploying containers using Docker and Azure
Level: 101
Heard of Containers? Want to get started with Docker? In this talk, we will cover the basics of Docker and how to build & run docker containers locally. We will also review how to publish container images to Azure container registry. Finally, we will talk about the different Azure services that support containers like Azure Web Apps for Containers, Azure Service Fabric and Azure Kubernetes Services. At the end of the talk, you will have a good idea on how to get started with containers and Docker.
